Common questions.
What days are available for private bookings? +
Private events are primarily available Sunday through Wednesday, when the room isn't hosting our regular DJ nights. Thursday through Saturday availability is limited and books up quickly — inquire early for weekend dates.
Can I bring my own DJ? +
Absolutely. Our booth has Pioneer CDJs, a mixer, and monitors ready to go. Your DJ just needs a USB drive. If they prefer their own controller, we can accommodate that too — just let us know when you book.
Is there alcohol available? +
Yes. We hold a liquor license and offer a full bar menu during events including Japanese beer, craft highballs, and cocktails. Drink packages can be arranged for private events.
What about parking? +
Free street parking is available on Highland Dr and surrounding streets. There's also a small lot behind the building with 8 spaces available after 6pm.
Is there a security deposit? +
We require a $200 refundable security deposit for all bookings, collected at the time of confirmation. It's returned within 5 business days after your event, assuming no damage to the space or equipment.
What's the noise situation? +
The Door is fully soundproofed with professional acoustic treatment. The ramen counter and the street hear nothing. Your event can be as loud as it needs to be.
